A Fighting Woman

Women did play a vital effort in the Civil War, be it at home or on the front lines. We sewed, laundered, cooked, cleaned, and raised money at home, as well as children, all for our brave fighting men. We nursed, faught, delivered messages, delivered water, and other duties on the war front. We were there. We will join groups that allow us, and we will prove ourselves in the duties we have. We will do our best with what we can. I'm a woman, I'm a Vivandiere, and I'm damned proud of it.

I decided it was time to do another ID, but I wanted something that reflects my womanhood, as well as my fighting spirit. Hence, I'm dressed my fighting gear as a Vivandiere, holding the sweetest little baby, and daughter of my Commander...who has adopted me as his Civil War daughter.
